When you book, we give an estimated arrival window. Actual arrival may shift because of traffic, prior job complexity, or weather. We try our best to keep you updated if there is a delay.
A booking is only confirmed once our team acknowledges it by phone, SMS, or message. Submitting a form alone does not guarantee a slot.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Price Estimates
Any price shown on the website, told over the phone, or sent in a message is an estimate. The final charge depends on what our technician finds after inspecting the appliance on-site. The technician explains the issue, lists needed parts, and gives you the exact cost before beginning any repair.
5.2 Service Visit Charge
A diagnostic visit fee may apply when our technician comes to your location. This charge covers the inspection trip and is separate from the repair cost. If you go ahead with the repair, we may adjust this fee against the total bill.
5.3 Payment Methods

Payment is due once the work is finished, unless you and R. K. Refrigeration Works Ltd. have a written credit arrangement in place beforehand. We reserve the right to hold a repaired appliance until the bill is fully settled.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
6.1 Cancellation by Customer
Cancel at least 2 hours before the scheduled time and you will not be charged. Cancellations made later than that may still incur the visit fee because our technician already committed that time slot and travel.
6.2 Cancellation by Us
In rare cases — extreme weather, emergency, or technician unavailability — we may need to reschedule. We will notify you as early as possible and offer the next open slot at no extra charge.

7. Warranty on Repairs
R. K. Refrigeration Works Ltd. stands behind the work our technicians perform. Here is how our warranty works:
- Service warranty: Covers the specific repair carried out. If the same fault returns within the warranty period because of our workmanship, we fix it again without charging labor.
- Parts warranty: Replacement parts come with the warranty given by the manufacturer or our supplier. We share those details at the time of installation.
- Warranty period: The exact duration and scope are told to you when the job is finished, either verbally or on the service receipt.
The warranty does not cover problems caused by misuse, voltage fluctuations, repairs done by someone else after our visit, physical damage, or ignoring the appliance manufacturer’s operating instructions.
8. Customer Responsibilities
When you hire R. K. Refrigeration Works Ltd., you agree to the following:
- Give accurate details about the appliance brand, model, and the problem when booking
- Make sure someone is at the location during the scheduled time window
- Give the technician safe, reasonable access to the appliance and the area around it
- Tell us in advance if the unit is installed at height, inside a tight space, or anywhere that needs special equipment
- Do not open or try to fix the appliance yourself after our diagnosis but before the repair is complete
- Clear any unpaid balance from previous visits before booking a new service
If our technician arrives on time and nobody is available to let them in, the visit fee may still be charged.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law in Bangladesh:
- R. K. Refrigeration Works Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages tied to our services
- Our total liability for any single service visit does not exceed the amount you paid for that visit
- We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions that could not be found during on-site diagnosis
- We are not liable for damage to walls, ceilings, flooring, or property caused by hidden structural issues, concealed wiring, or plumbing problems in your premises
- We are not responsible for food spoilage, data loss, or any other loss from an appliance being out of operation during or after repair
Our technicians work with reasonable care and skill. That said, appliances that are very old, heavily rusted, or previously tampered with by unqualified hands carry higher risk and may affect how well a repair holds up.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
When you share your name, phone number, address, or any personal details with R. K. Refrigeration Works Ltd., we handle that information according to our Privacy Policy.
